Details
Claire and April will take turns facilitating an approximately 45 to 60-min interview followed by roughly 15 to 30 minutes of Q&A.
Each interview will deliver practical advice and inspiring ideas, whether you’re deep in the writing process, starting on a writing journey, or just looking to inform your reading and celebrate your love of stories and literature.
Conversations will focus on:

Recordings will be sent to those who registered even if they can’t attend the live interview and will be available on Youtube three weeks after.

More About Claire & April
Claire Mulligan is the author of two novels: The Reckoning of Boston Jim (nominated for the Giller and the BC Book Prize) and The Dark (nominated for the Canadian Author’s Award). Her multi award-winning short stories have been published in over thirteen literary journals. Her script for her latest short film Obscura won the 2024 Leo Award for screenwriting and Best Short Film as well as the VAFF award for best Canadian short film. She lives in beautiful Victoria, BC where she offers writing courses, editing, and story consulting.

April Bosshard is a respected workshop facilitator and story coach who’s helped hundreds of writers develop and complete their projects. Sometimes called a “story whisperer” or “story genie,” she has a background in film and television and has written fiction and non-fiction for traditional and independent markets, which include publications in the US, UK, and Canada. April teaches at conferences and leads workshops internationally and online, while also working with individual clients as a story coach and developmental editor. https://www.deepstorydesign.com
